Mayor Don Walters is proud to announce the official opening of the City’s newest downtown amenity, Paddle Park, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, April 28, at 4:30 p.m. Located at 2170 Front Street, the unique seating area features a stage, solar umbrellas with charging stations and kayak seating in celebration of the Cuyahoga River. Jackson Kayak donated 16 factory-retuned kayaks to the City, which were incorporated into the seating area.

“Cuyahoga Falls is a destination for thousands of river enthusiasts each summer who enjoy kayaking and tubing on the beautiful Cuyahoga River,” stated Mayor Don Walters. “With the generous donation from Jackson Kayak, we were able to add much-needed seating in our downtown while celebrating and promoting the river’s recreational opportunities.”

The public is invited to attend the ribbon cutting, which will include refreshments and entertainment.
