Forging the next generation of Cuyahoga Falls Firefighters

What to expect:

If you've ever thought about a career in the fire service, this is an opportunity to jumpstart that dream. Get a leg up on the competition by joining this unique program. Candidates can expect to be challenged mentally and physically, while also being rewarded for their efforts and time. Interview practice, fire service introduction, physical conditioning, teamwork, and leadership skills are some of the benefits candidates can expect from this program. Set yourself apart from the crowd, and improve your chances of selection when the time comes.

The Forge is looking for 30 highly motivated individuals interested in bettering themselves and others. All working toward an end goal of becoming part of the Cuyahoga Falls Fire Department.
Ages 18 - 41. 17-year-old high school graduates are eligible with parent/guardian consent.
Bonus points are earned on the next civil service exam for candidates who successfully complete The Forge.

The Cuyahoga Falls Fire Department will contact applicants after registration closes on June 1st to verify their eligibility and availability for the bi-weekly sessions. A waitlist will be started after the course reaches capacity.
