Cuyahoga Falls is the proud home of nine neighborhood walking trails spread throughout the city limits. The Cuyahoga Falls Neighborhood Walking Trails range from ¾ mile to 1.5 miles and are marked at ¼ mile intervals so that walkers can set their starting and stopping points and total distance.
Some of the many benefits of walking include:
- Increased cardiovascular and pulmonary (heart and lung) fitness
- Reduced risk of heart disease and stroke
- Improved management of conditions such as hypertension (high blood pressure), high cholesterol, joint and muscular pain or stiffness, and diabetes
- Stronger bones and improved balance
- Increased muscle strength and endurance
