The Cuyahoga Falls Partnership for Parks is an independent, nonprofit charity that collaborates with the City of Cuyahoga Falls Parks and Recreation Department and Park Board to provide quality recreational opportunities that promote healthy lifestyles, shape our youth and enrich our families, and work to promote conservation through sustainable and innovative growth.
Doctor’s Order
Participating restaurants submit their recipes to the doctors at Western Reserve Hospital, who analyze the ingredients and make recommendations to restaurant clientele for the most satisfying and heart-healthy items on the menu. Look for the “Doctor’s Order” symbol the next time you visit your favorite local eatery.
Healthy Employees
The City of Cuyahoga Falls works to encourage the health of its employees in many ways including reimbursement for membership when active at the Natatorium, a tobacco-free policy, Vitality education and reward plan, and a spattering of fun fitness and education challenges. Departments are asked to participate in the wellness committee, to ensure that every aspect of the day-to-day needs are met and that employees sense a spirit of wellness throughout City Hall.
Healthy Ohio Community Award
Cuyahoga Falls is recognized by the Ohio Department of Health for its efforts to improve the quality of life for Falls residents through collaborations with its hospital and schools, and implementation of programming and policies that encourage a healthy lifestyle.
“Not Me, I’m Drug Free”
“Not Me, I’m Drug Free,” is an anti-drug campaign that unites the Mayor’s office, Cuyahoga Falls and Woodridge school districts, police and fire departments, community businesses, and Western Reserve Hospital in an unprecedented effort to curb drug abuse in Cuyahoga Falls.

Wellness Coalition
The City of Cuyahoga Falls is a proud participant in the Wellness Coalition, hosted by Western Reserve Hospital. The intent of this group is to gather the community, business and organization leaders who engage in conversation on the challenges that keep people from making healthy choices, and the solutions to bring more people on the path toward health.
