Saturday, October 19th at Water Works Park from 9:00 am-11:00 am
The River-City Cleanup Series serves as an opportunity for residents and businesses to come together to pull trash from one of our most valuable resources - the Cuyahoga River.
It is part of the city's ongoing efforts to improve water quality, promote environmental sustainability, enhance the recreational opportunities available to residents and visitors, and provide environmental education. Environmental educational displays from the City of Cuyahoga Falls Sanitation, Water, and NECCO Departments and our partner Summit Soil and Water Conservation District will be available. Providing continual environmental education is an important goal and vital to creating effective and long-term change to become a more sustainable community.
Cleanup and planting supplies will be provided for project volunteers. Volunteers should always dress for the weather and wear protective clothing for the project.
