Mayor Don Walters is pleased to announce the inaugural City of Cuyahoga Falls Spring Sustainability Expo on Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium. The Spring Sustainability Expo will showcase local businesses and organizations on the cutting edge of environmentally-friendly and sustainable practices to educate residents on sustainability at home.
Vendors and presenters will provide information on proper recycling, plant care, composting, reusing materials from your home, native plants, river health, gardening, and stormwater management. In addition, Cuyahoga Falls High School Urban Agriculture students will be on hand with free home garden starter sets. The students, and their Fresh Farm garden, were the inspiration for a community-centric event that encourages environmental and sustainable thinking.
