Mayor Don Walters is pleased to announce the return of the Spring Sustainability Expo on Saturday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium. The Spring Sustainability Expo will showcase over a dozen local businesses and organizations on the cutting edge of sustainable practices, conservation, and environmental education.
The Cuyahoga Falls High School-based Community Agriculture for Local Impact students from the Six-District Compact’s Career-Technical Education program will be on hand with free home garden starter sets while supplies last. Student art and projects from local schools will be on display that attendees can vote on, with the winning students receiving awards.
Vendors and presenters will provide information on the following topics:

- Recycling
- Cuyahoga River health
- Native plants
- Plant care
- Rain gardens
- Pollinator-friendly yards
- Organic lawn care
- Household stormwater management
- Energy efficiency
- Zero-waste lifestyle
- Local conservation efforts
