We have received questions regarding the East Palestine rail disaster and its possible effects on Cuyahoga Falls. Every drop of water from their watershed flows south to the Gulf of Mexico. All of our water flows north to Lake Erie, then the Atlantic Ocean. No water is able to cross the continental divide which is shown on the map, therefore it is impossible for their water to reach us.
