Water walking

Did you know that only 12% of the population can swim 500 yards continuously without stopping, while 93% can walk that same distance on land without a break?

Water Walking is a fun and effective way to stay active—especially during the summer. This outdoor class takes place in a 560-foot-long lazy river heated to a comfortable 84 degrees. Led by an instructor, the class allows you to regulate the water’s resistance for a customized workout that improves flexibility, agility, and cardiovascular health. The buoyancy of the water supports your body weight, making movement easier on the joints while still providing enough resistance to help strengthen muscles.

The class is open to both men and women ages 14 and up. Aqua shoes are strongly recommended for comfort and safety. Please note: the schedule may be adjusted due to attendance or inclement weather.
