A public hearing will be held at the City Council meeting on Monday, May 15, at 6:30 p.m. at the Natatorium to discuss a proposed text amendment to the City’s General Development Code to allow chickens in single-family residential districts (R-2, R-3, and R-4). Chickens are currently permitted as an allowed use in NP-1 National Park and R-R Rural Residential Districts and as a limited use in R-1 Large Lot Residential Districts.
The public is invited to attend and participate in the hearing. Written comments may be submitted to publiccomment@cityofcf.com or via regular mail at 2310 Second Street, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221, Attention: Council. Comments received at least twelve (12) hours before the Council meeting will be reviewed by the President of Council and read into the record.
