Mayor Don Walters and Police Chief Jack Davis are pleased to announce the launch of a mobile and web-based tip application that allows residents to submit anonymous tips to the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department.

Developed by tip411, the CFPD app allows anyone with a cell phone to send an anonymous tip to the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department by texting CFPD and a message to 847411 (tip411). Anonymous web tips can also be submitted www.cityofcf.com/anonymous-crime-tips. Residents can also download the free Cuyahoga Falls PD mobile app on the iPhone App Store or the Google Play Store.

“The CFPD app is a great addition to our department’s toolbox,” stated Mayor Don Walters. “This new service will allow those residents who prefer to interact online and via text to submit tips related to active cases.”

“Open communication is vital in order to provide the highest level of service to our residents,” stated Police Chief Jack Davis. “This is another tool for us to use to stay better connected to our community.”

The Cuyahoga Falls Police Department reminds residents to always call 911 for immediate safety and property threats; for currently occurring non-emergencies, call 330-928-2181. Submissions to tip411 are not monitored 24/7.
