The Downtown Interactive Water Fountain, located adjacent to the Downtown Amphitheater near Broad Boulevard is officially open for a shortened summer season. Families and children may enjoy the automated water feature free of charge in our exciting downtown. The fountain will be open daily from 11:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m., weather permitting through July 23, 2017. After July 23, 2017, construction on the south end of the pedestrian mall will begin to open Front Street to vehicular traffic. Please note that at the request of the Riverfront Irish Festival the fountain will be temporarily closed from June 8 until noon on June 12, 2017, to accommodate the designated festival area.
