Mayor Don Walters is pleased to announce that the City of Cuyahoga Falls will host the fourth annual Downtown Cuyahoga Falls Fire Truck Pull on Saturday, August 3, at 11 a.m. on Front Street. The 2024 Fire Truck Pull will benefit the Falls Cancer Club.

Teams of up to 10 people will be challenged to pull a Cuyahoga Falls Fire Truck 40 feet in the fastest time. Registration is $250 per team or $25 per person for free agents who would like to be placed on a team. All participants must sign a waiver of liability. Team check-in will be held from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., followed by the pulling contest at 11 a.m. Registration is currently available by visiting cityofcf.com/truckpullregistration. Event and team sponsorships are available.

“The Falls Cancer Club is a wonderful volunteer organization dedicated to supporting our residents through their toughest times,” stated Mayor Don Walters. “The Fire Truck Pull has quickly become a tradition in Cuyahoga Falls, and we look forward to another wonderful day of friendly competition and raising money for a good cause.”

Front Street between Broad Boulevard and Portage Trail will be closed to traffic on Saturday, August 3, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All funds raised at the Cuyahoga Falls Fire Truck Pull will benefit the Falls Cancer Club, a non-profit organization that strives to help cancer patients focus on their treatments and healing by providing financial assistance for cancer-related medical, pharmaceutical, supplemental, and medical equipment bills. Members also provide support services to patients and their families.
